Ross and Julie Brown established Brown Construction Ltd in Hamilton in 1997, based around their family, and their credibility for quality work and integrity in business. Over the years, Ross and his team have completed a variety of work, but have specialised in architecturally designed residential homes.
The direction of the business changed in 2014 when Brown Construction Ltd secured the eHaus license for the Waikato area. With several eHaus builds completed and more underway, the team have developed the unique knowledge and skills to deliver these high performing homes.
Ross manages the construction side of the business while also liaising with clients, providing guidance from his extensive building knowledge and wealth of experience and connections in the Waikato building industry. Ross achieved Advanced Trade Certificate in 1991 and has continued his professional development by becoming a Licensed Building Practitioner in 2011 and holds a Site 1 and 2 license. Ross’s technical building skills have often been sought after for complex building projects.
As the business has turned towards specialising in PassivHaus construction, Ross sat the gruelling international examination to become a Certified PassivHaus Tradesperson in 2016. He has also completed training to enable him to carry out Blower Door Testing as a measure of building airtightness.
